Courses and programs
The Saanich Adult Education Centre offers a wide variety of programs to the community:
- The STEP Program
- From Foundations through Step 5, this program is designed to enable adults to complete their highschool and obtain a BC Dogwood Diploma. - Special Education Assistance Program
- Offered through Malaspina University College this ten month program enables the graduate to work as a classroom special education assistant - for information contact Ang Hamilton at 652-2214 ext. 233 - no further intake for the 2004-2005 year.
- Adult Basic Education
- This Camosun College Satellite allows students to complete their highschool diploma at their own pace - on-going Intake, contact Wendy McDonald, 544-2192 or Rhonda Underwood-Scott 652-3849, ext. 222
- First Nations Family Support Worker Program
- A certificate program designed to provide students of First nations ancestry with the opportunities to develop knowledge, skills and values to work with families and individuals in First Nations Communities- Camosun College, no further intake for 2004-2005. - First Nations Home Support Resident Care Attendant Program
- A new program designed to provide students of First nations ancestry with the skills to work as a care provider for Elders in the community or in long term care facilities, STARTS JANUARY 2005!! - Camosun College, Contact Wendy McDonald 544-2192 or Rhonda Underwood-Scott 652-3849, ext. 222 "Limited Seating"
- SELEMW Child Development Centre
